The Karuna Girls Orphanage: A Safe Haven for Girls in Adipur, India

The Karuna Girls Orphanage, located in Adipur, Gujarat, is home to 50 girls aged 10 to 20. Founded after the 2001 Gujarat earthquake, it provides a nurturing environment for girls from underprivileged backgrounds.

The orphanage, run by the Jambudvipa Trust, provides more than shelter and nutritious meals—it offers formal education and enriching programs such as computer training, yoga, and the arts. Fully funded through charitable donations, it is committed to empowering each girl to grow into a confident and self-reliant young woman.

Supporting Girls' Futures Through Education, Shelter, and Community Care

Bank & Vogue proudly supports the Karuna Girls Orphanage in Adipur, India—the same community where we sort vintage clothing and produce our Label items.
Our ongoing fundraising covers housing, education, food, and utilities for 50 girls aged 5 to 20, helping eliminate financial stress for the orphanage.
Recently, we funded a new study hall to create a focused learning space. Through continued support, we remain committed to empowering these young girls to reach their full potential in a safe and nurturing environment.
